5 Day Silent Meditation Retreat

Silent retreat is a unique experience to stop in the middle of your life, and step into a space designed to support and challenge deepening your practice.

This retreat integrates the wisdom practices of Zen, Vipassana and Yoga traditions.

There will be daily afternoon dharma talks, and opportunities for one-on-one meetings with Jen.

All meals are vegetarian.  Special dietary needs can be specified upon registration, and there will be room to store a limited amount of specialty food items.   Please check with Jen before packing.

This is a time to step into the container of a retreat schedule, and allow the rhythms to support your practice and inner work.  Please do not bring computers, cell phones (turn them all the way off/hand into the office), books, journals, music, or hobbies.  Notebooks may be brought for the dharma talk. Please plan to participate in the full schedule all the way through the retreat.

* Preferred sitting props (meditation benches, cushions, blankets, or zabutons) if you have them * Loose dark/muted color clothing that covers shoulders and legs for sitting
* Athletic clothing for movement practice (and any props, like a yoga mat)
* Outdoor hiking available, bring suitable clothes if you like.

Location: Woodstock, NY
Cost: All rates are per person and include meals and lodging, only.  Dana (payment to the teacher), is traditionally offered at the retreat on a donation basis.  Cash/check/venmo is available.  Dana is typically between $60-$100 per day.  Pay what you can afford and feel good about.
