An amazing student voluntarily recorded one of the classes I taught in November. I’ve recently put it up on my podbean account, so it’s ready for listening and downloading! Totally free, and just in time for holiday season travels that might take you out of your regular studio-practice schedule!
This class was designed to lead up to eka pada koundinyasana – an arm balance pose. There are two versions of the class up – one is the short version and does not include the peak pose. It’s a great hip opener class. The longer version includes the peak pose, and is recommended if you are already familiar with the pose.
Although no substitute for an in-person demo and Q&A session, here’s an image of BKS Iyengar in the pose.
